The site requires no registration and keeps no user accounts. We do not collect a name, an email address, a phone number or any other identifying detail, and we run no mailing lists.

We do not sell, rent or pass on information about visitors to third parties.

The site uses a third-party measurement service for the sole purpose of counting page views. The service collects aggregate statistics such as the page viewed, the type of device and the country the visit came from.

The service does not build a user profile, does not follow visitors across sites and does not store a full IP address.

The site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. Nothing is stored in your browser that would identify you on a return visit.

The site is hosted by an external hosting provider. Like any web server, the provider keeps technical access logs for operation and security, under its own privacy policy.

Traffic to the site is encrypted over HTTPS.

The site links to external sites and services, among them a Discord server and other memorial sites. Once you follow such a link their privacy policy applies to you, and we have no control over it.

The details of those murdered and those taken hostage are based on information already published publicly, and are shown for remembrance only.

Family members who wish to correct a detail or remove information about a loved one are welcome to write to us at me@shakedangel.com, and the request will be handled promptly.
